'100 Club'
As a fund-raising exercise, we would like to get the above up and running.
Most of you will be familiar with such clubs but briefly, ours will be run along
the lines of a monthly draw of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes - half of the monthly income
going out in prizes; the remainder to the U.K.F.M to assist with hall hire charges etc.,
for the coming season.
To set it up, I would ask an individual to pledge a stake of £1 per month (£12 per year)
for which a personal number would be issued. The Club would require a minimum of
100 members to make it worthwhile, so I would ask that you 'spread the word' among
your Troupe parents' who may wish to take part as individuals.
Also, I would further ask that you speak to other Troupes' in your area who may not
have access to email/website facilities so that everyone within the 'U.K.F.M family' has
an opportunity to take part.
It would be ideal to get the Club operating before the new season starts in September,
so I would appreciate your response.
