The United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes
& Baton Twirlers
The United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes began 34 years ago in 1975 when Eileen Cheshire wanted to promote friendship among Twirlers across the Country, so together with her husband Ken they started The U.K.F.M.
Eileen started baton twirling 62 years ago at the age of 12. At 14 she met her husband Ken who also twirled the Mace. There love of baton twirling is what inspired them to start the Federation which over the years has become like family.

The United Kingdom Federation of Majorettes holds regional competitions between September through to April where all members can compete for prizes and also qualify to compete at the U.K.F.M National Championships which are held every year at Pontins in Camber Sands.
This is also a great way for all the members of the U.K.F.M to meet other members from all over the country and to catch up with old friends.
The U.K.F.M also hold regular training seminars as well as grading days. The grades that can be gained are;
